I met these two crazy characters at Sarah’s sister’s wedding at Centennial Vineyards in Bowral in the southern highlands before we did this Botany Engagement shoot.
They will be in Europe later in the year for their own wedding.
Unfortunately, when I met them they had already booked their wedding photographer. (DAMN IT!)
They still really wanted to do a Botany Engagement Shoot.
On the day, I met Sarah and Patrick in the carpark near the cliffs at Botany as the sun was starting to go down.
It was a great contrast to the forest scenery they will have when they’re in Europe.
It was coming into Autumn when we did this Botany engagement shoot but we were given a magic afternoon out there to play with.
I knew they were pretty adventurous so I took them to some spots that only the brave would handle.
If you are prepared to push it and step a little bit outside your comfort zone you can definitely get some shots that you otherwise wouldn’t get close to as well as being a lot more fun.
We were searching all over for cool spots
The sunset was bleeding around cliff edges as the ocean crashed against the cliffs behind them.
There were lots of interesting spots and gorgeous scenery but we didn’t have much time before the sun was gone.
We made our way back up to the top to get a few more shots before the light vanished.
A gorgeous sunset coated us as we got to the top and topped off an awesome afternoon.
I wish these two the very best for their wedding in Europe.
I can’t wait to see all their photos!
