Nav & Josh’s Rhododendron Gardens Wedding almost didn’t happen due to rain.
Thankfully they went with my recommendation of plan A and it worked out beautifully.
I always tell couples if you’re unsure, go with plan A.
Unless it’s absolutely pouring and the radar shows it’s not going to let up at all.
I know some couples that have regretted the few times they’ve made the plan B decision.
These guys enjoyed the company of family and friends in what turned out to be a gorgeous afternoon.
Dark storm clouds trailed across the sky leaving us with some beautiful light to play with at their Rhododendron Gardens Wedding.
We walked the gardens with the bridal party for a little while, then took off for the coast to see what we could find.
Finding our way down the rocky cliffs at East Wollongong, we found the colours and textures of the rocks against the contrast of the water pretty amazing!
Nav and Josh both wanted to add some variety to their portraits of the ocean scenes with some more bushy outlooks.
We raced up to Mount Keira lookout and were hoping for some moody portraits on the cliff edges as a result of the dark and windy conditions.
It was a perfect way for these two to spend a little bit of time to themselves, looking out over the valley below before heading back to their Reception at Northbeach Novotel for their Wollongong Garden Wedding.
As soon as we got back to the reception it started to pour!
We got it all in!
These guys were up for anything from the first meeting I had with them so I was so glad it all worked out for them.
Josh had designed the lighting for their reception which is always great to see couples putting their own spin on things.
The partying continued into the night.
