I’d been waiting for this Western Australia Engagement Shoot with Ka and Rich for a long time.
For me, there’s nothing better than visiting new environments and being able to photograph them.
To do this with an awesome couple that was down for anything and a legend cinematographer was so good!
Ka, Rich, Myself and James, the man behind Anchored Cinema met up in Perth.
We had 2 days to cover around 1500km to visit some of the places Ka and Rich wanted to see.

Day 1 – Perth – Lancelin Sand dunes – Wave Rock

We pushed it as much as we could.
Starting with our first sunrise at Lancelin Sand dunes about 1.5 hours outside of Perth.
From there we headed to some random pine forest I found on google maps another 4 hours away on our way to Wave rock about another 3 hours away.
We managed to get there just as the sun was setting.
We were able to play with a bit of light before it went down, the colours were insane!

Day 2 | Perth – The Pinnacles – Kalbarri

After getting back to Perth at 1.30am we were up again a few hours later to be at The Pinnacles by sunrise.
It was Chilly when we got there but soon warmed up as the sun shone through the rocks.
4.5 hours away was Kalbarri National Park which was our final destination for Sunset.
We made it with some time to find some amazing spots.
Kalbarri has some incredible gorges and rock formations which were fun to play with.
We were all pretty hyped from what we had seen even though the trip back to Perth was a long 6.5 hours.
We stopped along the highway at about 11 pm in the middle of nowhere to check out the stars. Being from Hong Kong these guys hadn’t seen anything like it and was a great way to finish this Western Australia Engagement Shoot
